Bad Ass

Apparently a hunting party in Arizona was attacked by a mountain lion. The hunters, dogs and horses ran for their lives. The mule in the pic below stood its ground and proceeded to kick the crap out of the lion.

Who wants Bush?

Forty-nine percent of 1,007 adult Americans said in phone interviews they believe Bush is a "uniter," according to the CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll released Wednesday. Another 49 percent called him a "divider," and 2 percent had no opinion.

Space Camp

SomethingAwful goes to space camp...
"Lunch was served promptly at noon and consisted of food tubes full of nutritional paste that the real astronauts eat! At first I thought they were handing out complementary tubes of toothpaste and ended up going to the bathroom and brushing my teeth with pork chops. Boy was my face red. After lunch we were led out to the grassy courtyard where there were free pony rides! I got to ride a pony and it was lots of fun. But then something happened that was really gross. An astronaut was riding a pony in front of me and the pony went to the bathroom and poo-poo fell out of its butt..."

Free beer

Great, cows get free beer while soldiers back from a year+ of war still can't order a drink.

Cows in eastern Iowa prefer their feed spiked with beer. In fact, a dozen or so cattlemen say their cattle now hesitate to eat food prepared any other way.

Ban on children!

Finally a law that makes sense!

Without Parental Approval (1/10)
The Philadelphia City Council is considering a bill that would ban children under six from movies that aren't rated G after 7 p.m. "I think anybody who went to see Spider-Man at 9 at night and had a screaming baby next to them can appreciate why this bill should be looked at," said a spokesman for one of the council members who introduced the bill. The bill calls for a fine of up to $50 for any adult who brings a child to a movie in violation of the law, and a fine of up to $300 for any theater that illegally admits a child. http://www.reason.com/hitandrun/
